What are pre-finished floors?

Pre-finished flooring is solid hardwood flooring that is already sealed, sanded and ready to be put into place. The whole process is quick and once our team have completed the job, you are ready to go - there is no need to wait for the floors to dry.

This process is different from other site-finished flooring services where the laying of the floor is only half of the work. The rest of the work consists of sanding and sealing the flooring surface.

The prime characteristics of pre-finished floors are its thick, multiple layers of urethane coating.  Pre-finished flooring  is sanded and sealed during the manufacturing process under high temperatures to get the best possible finish.
